Music - Music is a unique and integral part of life. It has the capacity to inspire all students' creativity and imagination, engage them in the part of expression, immense them in a language and musical history that is rich in culture, provide them with opportunities beyond the classroom and excite them about life and learning.
The skills, concepts and attitudes that students acquire as a result of music education, benefit them not only during their schooling but also in the years beyond whatever their chosen career path. The purpose of music education is to enhance musical abilities in an individual who could understand and achieve both an aesthetic and academic understanding.
Dance - Education in the art of dance develops the knowledge and skills required to create, perform and understand movement as a means of artistic communication. The aim of IPGS is to develop students who are sensitive and articulate physical and verbal communicators of the visual art of dance who are proficient in the analysis of dance in its cultural manifestations. It serves to stimulate conscious understanding of the language of movement and to develop aesthetic knowledge and skill in movement expression.
Art - Starting from the Elements of Art, art room is filled with different materials, different papers, different brushes, paints etc. Students learn various style of painting and crafts. Their art book ‘creativity beyond’ is full of so many interesting ways of painting and drawing activities. We also have ‘Kalakriti’, club activity in which students use their own creativity and create a beautiful artwork. We focus on the creative aspect of each student and enhance their skills by encouraging them to practice and learn more. Students take part in interschool art competitions which encourage them to participate and learn more.
Drama - Drama has been an influential factor in many people’s lives. With the help of drama creativity can flourish, academics can improve and means of self-expressions can be developed. They benefit significantly not only in terms of exploring the unexplored or the hidden ability to act but also by shedding the inhibitions associated with performance before an audience. Keeping this in mind IPGS provides a unique platform to its students in dramatics through various clubs and classroom activities where each and every child is given an opportunity to showcase their talents.
