Investiture Ceremony 2024-25

On the illustrious morning of May 10, 2024, the Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2024-25 unfolded at Indraprastha Global School, Noida, echoing with solemnity and enthusiasm. This momentous occasion marked the official vesting of power and responsibility upon the newly elected members of the school's senate, heralding a new era of leadership.
The ceremony commenced with a harmonious rendition of "Leader in Me," setting the tone for the day's proceedings. A symbolic lighting of the lamp followed, symbolizing the quest for divine guidance and blessings as the school embarked on its journey under new leadership. The presence of Retired Major General Piyush Gupta, a distinguished alumnus of the National Defence Academy, added an aura of reverence and prestige to the event. His remarkable 36-year career in the Indian Army served as an inspiring backdrop for the young leaders poised to take charge.
Accompanying him was Brigadier Sanjay K Singh, a stalwart of the Indian Army with a legacy spanning over three decades, gracing the occasion as the esteemed guest of honor. Their presence underscored the school's commitment to instilling values of discipline, service, and leadership among its students.
The ceremony reached new heights with a captivating performance by the students, who showcased their talent through a mesmerizing dance on Ganesh Vandana, captivating the audience with their skill and grace.
As the day progressed, the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, and the school Principal adorned the newly elected council members with badges and sashes, symbolizing the transfer of authority and responsibility. Under the guidance of Senior Headmistress Ms. Alka Sharma, the members of the school cabinet solemnly pledged their commitment to uphold the values of integrity, diligence, and service to their school and community.
The Acceptance speeches delivered by the Head Boy, Head Girl, junior Head Boy, and junior Head Girl resonated with sincerity and determination, as they expressed their gratitude for the trust placed in them and articulated their vision for the future.
In a poignant moment, the esteemed dignitaries congratulated the council members, urging them to embrace their roles with courage and compassion, and to strive towards becoming exemplary leaders of tomorrow.
The ceremony culminated with a stirring rendition of the National Anthem, igniting a sense of pride and patriotism in every heart present, as the school reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing not just scholars, but also responsible citizens and compassionate leaders.

ANNUAL SPORTS DAY 2023, UMANG
“Life is incomplete without sports, it's the time to refresh our time so play as much as you can.”
Indraprastha Global School, Noida celebrated its much-anticipated Annual Sports Day 2023, ‘Umang’ on December 16, 2023, on the sprawling grounds of the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik, Sports Complex, Greater Noida. The Chief Guest for the day was Junior Warrant Officer in the Indian Air Force and an Olympic Games Sharpshooter, Mr Deepak Kumar. The Guest of Honour was the Indian athlete, Mr. Avdesh Nagar. The venue, which was adorned with colourful balloons and flags, had an air of anticipation. The event was filled with great zeal and excitement as the students showcased their talent in various games. The zealous parents gathered in large numbers to applaud the enthusiastic young sports stars.
WELCOME ASSEMBLY SESSION 2023-24
The students of Class XII presented an assembly for the commencement of the new academic session . The assembly commenced with a morning prayer followed by meaningful thoughts related to success. After the thought, Eshika Bajpai and Kavyansh Gupta shared the IPGS news headlines. This was followed by a talk on 'Success and Determination.'Various school rules and regulations were reiterated by Aanya Srivastava and Nandini Rana.A self-composed poem by Jigyasa Singh titled 'Motivation' was recited impeccably by her.The assembly ended by showcasing a meaningful success mantra by APJ Abdul Kalam, the late President of India through a video.Principal Ma’am, in her address, advised the students to remain disciplined and regular throughout the school year.This assembly was undoubtedly a result of immense efforts put together by students and teachers.
CAREER FAIR
"The best way to predict the future is to create it."
The school organised FOUNTAINHEAD- A Career Fair on December 5, 2022 for the students of classes VIII - XII and their parents. This event aimed to help the students by offering :
• An open field for guidance, consultancy and exploration of multiple career options.
• Direct interactions/ brochures from numerous Indian / International Universities.
• Experienced consultants available to solve their queries.
• Personal Branding
• Free career advice
• Potential internship opportunities.

The representatives of some of the universities interacted with the students & parents in the breakout sessions and apprised them about various processes regarding exams and admissions.
The fair provided an excellent opportunity to students to discover the career options available for them within and outside the country. The event, the first of its kind, proved to be an enriching experience for all who attended.
Annual Day VI-XII
Effervescence and gaiety marked the Annual Day celebration at Indraprastha Global School, Noida on November 12, 2022. The event aimed to empower the children and celebrate their remarkable achievements.The event commenced with the felicitation of the venerable Chief guest, Mr. C.S. Vaidyanathan, who graced and lent a special charm to the occasion.The play demonstrated the theme of the event “Utopian Realm of Oscar Wilde”, which was presented through a medley of colours, sonorous music, beautifully choreographed dances and skillful drama by our little thespians, which uplifted the atmosphere with cadence and sublimity. The ballet and ghost dance were indeed a memorable experience that received an overwhelming applause from the distinguished guests and the parents of the participants.The event concluded with a motivational speech by the honourable Chief Guest and the Director of IPGS, reiterating the importance of the day followed by the singing of the National Anthem.
InterSchool Event-AVATAAR

IPGS hosted its first Social Science Inter school event 'AVATAAR' on July 8, 2022 to honour the talent of students in a myriad of competitions with the theme of conserving and preserving Indian heritage and culture. The day started with a grand welcome to the participating schools. The chief guest, Mr Netrapal Singh in his motivating speech urged the students to view history with a different perspective.
A series of events were planned for the day, blending learning with creativity, innovation and joy. The participants put their best foot forward to spread smiles with their performances in events like Hist-o-tech, Quiz, Ancestry and Tribal Manifestation.
Participants from reputed and prestigious schools of Delhi/NCR presented their top- notch performances.
Spontaneity and confidence were the hallmark of the competition. The students left everyone awe-struck as they presented their talents immaculately and effortlessly.
The school Principal, Ms Nikita Tomar Mann, encouraged the participants to participate more in such events and give their best. The Valedictory Ceremony saw all students excited as they cheered for their teams. The Rolling Trophy was bagged by Indraprastha International School, Dwarka. The day proved to be a great learning experience for all.
MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATION

A special Mothers Day programme was organised for the gracious mothers of IPGS on Friday, May 6, 2022. The programme began with the school choir energizing the ambience with the Gayatri Mantra followed by a soulful tribute to mothers by the school choir of the primary department. Students presented a beautiful thought based on the theme in Sanskrit, further translated in English and Hindi. This was followed by a welcome dance by our tiny tots of Montessori wing. A skit on Mothers- Mother Earth, Mother Teresa and all the mothers was presented by the students highlighting their unconditional love, hard work and the bond they share with their children. An energetic dance performance by the exuberant dancers of IPGS set everybody feet tapping. Vocabulary words related to mothers were presented with correct pronunciation and usage. Then the mothers were invited on stage for some fun games. All the mothers participated with great enthusiasm. The winners of all the games were given gift hampers.The mother of Atharv Aggarwal also expressed her thoughts and feelings about the teacher's efforts and motherly love that they shower on their children. The principal Ms Nikita Tomar Mann thanked the mothers for being a part of this grand celebration and appreciated their zeal and enthusiasm. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
Orientation Day
Indraprastha Global School, organised an Orientation Day for the parents of new enrollments to familiarise them with the vision and philosophy of the school on Saturday, April 2, 2022. The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the grandparents and parents by the school Principal, Ms Nikita Tomar Mann.The highlight of the programme was an interactive session by the guest speaker Ms. Ruma Purkayastha on Parenting wherein she laid emphasis on the active involvement of parents in the upbringing of their wards .The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by the Director of the school, Mr Mohit Thukral.
Special Assembly
A special assembly on Mahavir Jayanti was organised by the students IPGS on April 13,2022.The assembly began with the school choir energizing the audience with the Gayatri mantra and prayer song. This was followed by an apt thought for the day based on Lord Mahavira’s teachings .
A mesmerising poem was presented by Samriddhi vats highlighting the views of Lord Mahavira. An informative speech about Lord Mahavira and his life, his philosophy , beliefs and ideology was delivered by Tanmit Kaur. Vocabulary words helped students in enhancing their vocabulary and knowing the correct pronunciation. 14th April is being celebrated as the 129th birth anniversary of Dr. B R Ambedkar . Eipsita Sinha presented a talk on Dr. Ambedkar's life and his priceless contributions to India . The Principal Of IPGS, Ms.Nikita Tomar Mann addressed the students and inspired them with her words of wisdom. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
Earth Day
For the past 40 years, Earth Day continues to grow as a worldwide phenomenon focussing on promoting clean living and a healthy, sustainable habitat for the people and wildlife. A special assembly on Earth Day was organised by the students of IPGS on April 22,2022. The assembly began with the school choir energizing the audience with the Gayatri mantra and prayer song. This was followed by an apt thought for the day based on Earth day. A mesmerizing presentation on 3Rs was presented which gave the message that we should try to implement the rule of 3 R’s in our daily lives, that is re-use, re-cycle and reduce. A mesmerizing poem was presented highlighting Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. A short comedy skit on the topic, 'Noise Pollution' was presented by the students of Grade IX followed by a song by primary students. Senior students performed a Hindi street play highlighting the adverse effects of cutting trees and neglecting the environment. Vocabulary words stressing on correct pronunciation were presented. The Principal, Ms.Nikita Tomar Mann addressed the students and sensitised them about using the resources judiciously. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
