Trip to Mussoorie and Dhanolti

“The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.”

At Indraprastha, we believe that imparting education is an ongoing process to ensure harmonious development of mind and body, it remains pulsating inside and outside the classroom walls. Learning beyond the classroom offers a whole host of opportunities to acquire first-hand knowledge. It is like unclipping the wings of the learners and empowering to soar high to explore the horizons of learning. With the purpose to educate, strengthen the bonding among students and teachers and to provide a welcome break from the regular routine, the school management organised a trip to Mussoorie and Dhanolti for four days. The trip gave an adventurous experience to the students. The students found themselves engrossed throughout the day in various physical activities in which they came to know about their own strengths and weaknesses. The students enjoyed themselves by doing various activities like Rock Climbing, River Crossing, Rappelling, Team Building Games etc. The camp instilled in our students the need to respect our resources, to become physically active and mentally alert. And they relived the tagline of every adventure camp- that every adventure starts with “I CANNOT” but ends with an “I DID” just by doing it, our students came back content and all the more rearing to go.
