From Kuala Lumpur to Yale: A Journey of Grit, Glory & Global Triumph
The year 2025 marked a defining chapter in the academic odyssey of Indraprastha Global School, as our young scholars rose from the grand global stage at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to the prestigious Tournament of Champions at Yale University, USA, emerging as one of the most distinguished and decorated contingents worldwide.
What began with curiosity, collaboration, and courage at the Global Round transformed into an unforgettable celebration of intellect and leadership at the Tournament of Champions, where our scholars proved that excellence is not an act but a persistent pursuit.
GLOBAL ROUND – KUALA LUMPUR, 2025
A Display of Promise, Potential & Pure Perseverance
Four teams both Junior and Senior, represented IPGS at the Global Round, taking part in intense debates, collaborative writing, scholars’ challenges, and the thrilling Scholars’ Bowl.
Across all categories, our students demonstrated exceptional skill, earning multiple gold and silver medals, team achievements, and standout individual honours.
Team Achievements – Senior Division
In the Senior Division, our teams delivered an exemplary collective performance across all events. In the Team Bowl, all three contingents secured commendable global standings, each earning Silver medals for their cohesive strategy and academic command. The Team Debate segment witnessed an extraordinary display of rhetorical prowess, with our teams attaining global ranks of 225th, 14th, and an outstanding 4th place, the latter two achieving a distinguished Gold sweep, while the senior-most team was further honoured with prestigious trophies. Demonstrating intellectual precision and consistent analytical depth, the teams also excelled in Team Writing, bringing home multiple Silver medals and reaffirming their mastery across collaborative academic formats.

Arsh Singh – 12 medals including 2 Trophies, multiple Gold & Silver, Debate Champion, and Champion Scholars (14th place)
Oviyaan Oberoi – 12 medals including Debate Gold, and multi-subject challenge medals
Tanmit Kaur – 8 medals including Gold in Debate, Gold & Silver across subjects, and Champion Scholars (58th place)

With participation of over 3000 scholars from 35 countries *2 Junior Teams and 1 Senior Team of IPGS, have qualified for the Tournament of Champions, to be held at Yale University in November 2024*.
- Declared the Second Best Team in South Asia
- Placed in the Top 20 teams to qualify for TOC at Yale
- Manya Sharma of Class VIII won a Gold Medal as a Champion Scholar
- Tushti Dhingra of Class X was chosen for Debate Showcase
- Ranked amongst the First 10 Teams in the Scholars Challenge

IPGS Students Prove Their Mettle Yet Again - 2023
The Junior Team of IPGS represented the school at Bangkok, Thailand to compete in the prestigious World Scholar's Cup 2023. The competition, known for its challenging and multi-disciplinary nature, tests students' knowledge in various subjects including science, history, literature, and art.
The team members, Charukyshi Pande, Tanmit Kaur and Shirin Sharma, proved themselves to be exceptional scholars and ambassadors of the school as they showcased their remarkable intelligence and dedication by engaging in team debates, individual speeches and collaborative writing challenges.
Throughout several gruelling rounds, the students demonstrated their phenomenal research and critical thinking skills.
The team exhibited extraordinary teamwork, persistence and sportsmanship during the 7 days stay at Bangkok, as they competed with students and teams from over 40 nations.
Given below is the list of their achievements-
- Of the 400 teams from across the globe, IPGS team lifted the Gold Trophy with the 19 th rank
- Qualified for the Tournament of Champions at the Yale University, USA !
- Charukyshi Pande was declared the 5th best scholar among 2000 plus scholars.
- The team secured an overall third position for Collaborative Writing.
- The team secured an overall 9th position in the Scholar's Bowl
- Being the highest scoring Indian scholar, Charukyshi Pande was given the honour to be the flag-bearer for India, during the closing ceremony.
The recognition that the team has received for their grit, hard work and dedication will undoubtedly serve as a motivation for all the students at IPGS!

CULTURAL CONVERGENCE
An International Webinar on Cultural Convergence for classes VI-XII was organised on April 20, 2022, at Indraprastha GLOBAL SCHOOL, Noida in collaboration with Birla Public School ,Qatar.The programme began with an introduction to our pride, our school, through a small video. The students of IPGS began with the briefing about rich Indian heritage followed by the partner school's introduction to the stimulating facts about their side.The programme covered the diversified languages , festivals, yummylicious foods and emerging changes in both the countries.IPGites wrapped up by stating some engrossing facts about India. Then, the international school showed their country's tradition at the end of the session through an engaging act and ppt, followed by the vote of thanks.
